I’ve started using a charcoal toothpaste because I want whiter teeth. Is it safe to use it every day?

Daily use is not recommended. Powdered charcoal is abrasive and may erode enamel and stain margins over time. If you like the occasional polish, limit to once per week and always follow with a fluoride paste. For safe whitening, consider dentist-supervised trays or low-abrasive whitening toothpaste.
Charcoal pastes are abrasive and can scratch enamel; many also lack fluoride. Limit use to once or twice a week, choose a low-abrasive formula, and keep brushing twice daily with a fluoride toothpaste to strengthen enamel.
